Uncle Waffles appears on the cover of Forbes Africa

Record producer and deejay Lungelihle Zwane, better known as Uncle Waffles, has graced the cover of Forbes Africa.

Sharing the big achievement on social media, the world-renowned deejay wrote, “What do I even say, how do I explain that I’m on the @forbesafrica cover. ?God, thank you, for always choosing me. This journey continues to be a journey of the impossible and this is still only the beginning. Thank you for loving on me my babies ? thank you so much! IM ON FORBES BABYYYYY?.”

The Eswatini-born star received many congratulatory messages from her fans and peers in the industry.

Fellow deejay Black Coffee, who is set to entertain the masses at the Madison Square Garden in New York on 7 October, gave the deejay a round of applause.

While a fan commented, “The Waffles brand is an absolute phenomenon, man — the amount of success and growth it has reached in such a short space of time? It’s astonishing, and yet a marvel to witness!

Uncle Waffles recently received a shoutout from Grammy award-winner Missy Elliott after the hip hop legend attended one of the deejay’s New York shows.

“@unclewaffffles big up???? I went to see her play her set the other night and she always be snappin’ on the DJ tip she smash up da place??. Hopefully big tingz soon??.”
