One thing about Uncle Waffles is that she will win at all costs. From being nominated for international awards and gaining massive popularity among internet users, the Amapiano DJ and record producer booked her trip to the globally recognised Paris Fashion Week after getting an exclusive invite from the luxurious clothing brand Louis Vuitton.
The Eswatini Amapiano princess whose real name is Lungelihle Zwane was invited by the brand’s creative director, American singer and songwriter Pharrell Williams, ahead of the annual Paris Fashion Week which takes place from the 18-23 June.
The event which happens four times a year will debut its Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 collection which will house a lot of well-known celebrities and fashion enthusiasts.
The Wadibusa hitmaker sparked an online debate when she was nominated as the Best International Act at the BET Awards. This comes after she decided to represent her country of origin instead of South Africa given that she first rose to fame after her dance video to Young Stunna’s Adiwele.
Uncle Waffles took to her X (previously known as Twitter) to show her invitation with the caption, “Paris Fashion Week with bae @LouisVuitton.”
