Not too long ago, Uncle Waffles made history at Coachella as the first Amapiano DJ to perform at the music and arts festival. She had also met singer Ciara, who showed the DJ love and performed the popular Yahyuppiyah TikTok dance challenge.
The Tanzania hitmaker – who released her latest album Asylum on 31 March 2023 – is not slowing down any time soon. In early April, Uncle Waffles announced that she would be touring for 200 days this year, the USA being one of her stops.
