Singing sensation and Afro-Soul king, Vusi Nova has officially dropped his much-anticipated single titled Sozendixole. The song sampled a few times by the multi-award- winning artist on his social networks saw many of his followers share painful events that have occurred in their lives.
The therapeutic song Sozendixole which translates to (I’ll never be at peace) is meant to help people reflect on the life events that they are not at peace with and try to get to a point of acceptance.
Sampling the song a few days ago, the Thandiwe hitmaker posted a video of explaining what the song meant to him and asked his followers to share some of the events they will never be at peace with. Flooding the comment section, his followers shared some their pain and found ways to comfort each other through the comments.
In the song that came out today, Vusi’s opening line translated in English as, “I am disrespected, simply because I do not have a mother, someone to cry to when things go bad. They are hitting me, and I can’t stand it, I can also stand on my own, I am trying. I will never be at peace, death has arrived.”
The singer had previously mentioned his mother’s passing really him hard, adding:
“The one thing that I will never heal from is my mother’s passing, and also just how she passed on. I will never be at peace with that. Then I ask myself, is it ok to feel that way, is that now all of a sudden, an issue that I need to deal with internally?”
Taking to his social media to announce the song dropping today the Asiphelelanga hitmaker shared:
