Springboks player Cheslin Kolbe returned to South Africa after four months and shared a heartwarming Instagram Reel on Monday, 3 June, showing his children welcoming him home.
Kolbe, married to Layla since 2016, has three children: Kylah (6), Mila Sky (3), and Cayden (1).
The video features his daughters running to greet him and his son initially not recognizing him.
Kolbe expressed his joy at being reunited with his family.
“4 Months later. Scary to see how much has changed. My son almost didn’t know it was me . Best feeling being united with my crew again.
Love you,” he captioned the post.

However, Layla revealed that Kolbe had to leave the next morning, making his visit brief.
“This morning I had to tell my kids ‘it was all a dream,’ @cheslinkolbe came home last night and had the first flight out this morning again! For a split second everything just fell so normal again,” read the caption.

Internet users took some time to comment on the post sharing:
One user noted Cheslin’s humility as he took sometime to take pictures with fans at the airport commenting:
“He has literally not seen his family in ages, and still greets and takes photos with fans! Top guy!”
Another user wrote, “Shout to dad for picking up both girls and pushing that trolley! Hopefully, there will be another reunion soon. Stay strong mama.”
