South African music star, DJ Zinhle, recently shared a candid clip about her daughter, Kairo Forbes, and she was not happy with her mother about it.
In video that was originally shared to Zinhle’s Instagram stories, it started trending on X too, Zinhle and Kairo were on a mommy-daughter day out and when the time to pay the bill came, Zinhle was trying to encourage Kairo to pay for their meal, asking her to spoil her just this once.
“Kairo you’re so dramatic, just pay the bill. Just pay. Just this once. Next time, I’ll pay. Just pay, just spoil me. Come on. Come on, just do it, you can do it. Just close your eyes and tap. It’s not too much money,” Zinhle can be heard saying while Kairo clutches tightly to her card.

Kairo and her mom have been spending a lot of time together, and have grown stronger and closer following the death of her dad, AKA, in February this year. Zinhle has another child, Asante, who was born in 2021 and that she shares with her husband, Morda.
In one of DJ Zinhle’s recent Instagram posts, she shared snippets of some of her recent highlights, which included a holiday away, a picture with Morda, and a message of her asking Kairo for a selflie, and her sending one right back. She also posted a picture of Kairo dressed as Wednesday Addams when she bagged an award at the SASMAs.
“Key moments 🔑🔥” she said.
