On social media, many people are participating in the Come Duze challenge, a TikTok dance trend first seen performed by an unknown ANC supporter. Despite the dance being linked to the ruling party, this did not stop the opposition party, the EFF’s Carl Niehaus’s wife from joining in on the fun.
The latest dance trend, which uses the song Bula Nthweo by Vetkuk, Mahoota, and DJ Maphorisa, gained popularity among many of the youth of South Africa. Not only are the youngsters copying the moves but the attire too, as many are mainly seen wearing ANC merchandise.

Now, the EFF member’s wife, model Noluthando ‘Nolie’ Mdluli, has also hopped onto the trend.
Staying far away from the ANC colours, Nolie dances to the song wearing a classic red and black EFF-branded cap and shirt.
Carl, who was the former spokesperson for the ANC and Nelson Mandela, shared the post on his social media accounts, writing the following:
“My wife @noliemdluli doing the Come Duze challenge in our @EFFSouthAfrica regalia. Lol, now the ANC people are angry as if they own the challenge.”
