Popular podcaster Macgyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho had much to celebrate over the weekend after he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Naledi Monamodi at a sold-out SunBet Arena while celebrating reaching 1 million subscribers for Podcast and Chill with MacG.
Standing in front of a crowd of supporters on stage with Naledi and their son, MacG could be heard saying, “Before all of this happened, there was a lady by my side, who stood next to me and told me, ‘Baby, you can do this!’ She told me, ‘Baby, there’s no one else who can do this.’
“When we just had an iPad, she did the first show. When I was out, broke and didn’t have any money, I crashed at her apartment. It was as big as this corner right here, but we chilled and she stuck with me. She’s the only woman who loved me when I didn’t have a show when I was a nobody. Man, the stories that I can tell you about this lady, it’s f*cking incredible.”
MacG continued, “But because tonight, everybody I love is here … Naledi Monamodi, will you please spend the rest of your life with me?”
After taking a moment to herself, sitting on a nearby couch and hearing the crowd chant ‘yes!’ Naledi got up and made her way to her fiancé, stretching out her left hand.
