Makhadzi’s recent performance at the Royal Heritage Festival in Venda drew comparisons to Beyoncé’s iconic shows, as she made a grand entrance by soaring over the stage in a golden outfit.
This marked her return to the festival after four years and showcased her star power.
Makhadzi expressed her gratitude for realising her dream and vowed to continue delivering impressive performances.
“I am out of words. It has been a dream to make such great and fire performance. The Royal Heritage festival made my dream to come true. Thank you very much for putting a signature on one of the things I dreamed for. Yes I cried my dream came true. I can’t wait to do more shows and showcase what I love and enjoy,” said Makhadzi on Instagram.

While her initial attempt faced criticism, this time she received applause from fans and celebrities like Dineo Ranaka and Phathu Makwarela.
Makhadzi has previously drawn inspiration from Beyoncé and even expressed a desire for an outfit inspired by the pop icon.

She is set to release a new album titled Mbofholowo, which means freedom in Tshivenda, under her company, Makhadzi Entertainment, after parting ways with Open Mic Productions due to contractual differences.
