On the 7th of August 2021, South Africa was hit with tragic news that six people were killed in a head-on collision on the N4 in Rustenburg. It was later discovered that the victims included well-known artists Killer Kau, Mpura, Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe who was Mpura’s DJ at the time, DJ Thando Tot and TD who were on their way to a gig.
With only two years passed since this tragedy, Kagiso Stuurman, younger brother to Mongenzi Thomas Stuurman also known as Mpura visited WITHIN WITH HAZEL, a YouTube podcast under Bakoe Entertainment where he was candid about his brother’s accident.
Kagiso gave Hazel insight on what occurred when he found out about the accident adding that his family did not allow anyone to view his body, as the scene was gruesome and would have caused nightmares for those who saw it. He also mentioned that there were several injuries on his face caused by the accident.
The interview between Hazel and Kagiso where he described the scene of the accident.

Although many X (formerly Twitter) users did not understand the purpose of this interview with many alluding that it was unnecessary one user commented:
This is a definition of trying hard to attract attention. What sort of questions are these?
Lets say he had answers, let’s see
“Yeah, ngambona, Umpura bekaphuki nhloko, agubheke nobucopho”
