A recent episode of Podcast and Chill with MacG had internet users in stitches as the podcaster pranked the Minister of Electricity Kgosientsho Ramokgopa with a fake power outage.
Podcast and Chill with MacG, which has gained massive popularity with over 1 million subscribers on YouTube and is known as one of the most controversial podcasters in the country left viewers in stitches in the latest interview.
During the interview, Macgyver Mukwevho, popularly known as MacG, and Sol Phenduka staged a power outage while the minister spoke, and given that the minister had denied the lack of electricity in the country, many users felt that it was a good prank.
Loadshedding is a common occurrence in South Africa that leads to power outages, affecting productivity in businesses and households.
MDN News, an online publication posted on X (previously known as Twitter) the episode where the power outage occurs and the minister is seen panicking as he explains that it was not load shedding and that they staged it.
