Siyamthanda ‘Siya’ Kolisi is one of the nation’s most admired gentle giants. The famous number 6 jersey is brought to life by quite an impeccable individual who consistently put in the work in creating a legacy for his name in an industry that had been deemed extremely tough for a person of colour.
Like many of his teammates in the national rugby team, Siya has had a tough upbringing that he used as motivation to fuel his dedication and drive, as he took over the world by breaking glass ceilings and putting an end to many of his family’s generational curses.
