South African music duo member of Black Motion Thabo Smol confirmed that the split between him and his former bandmate Bongani Mohosana, professionally known as Mörda was not caused by his wife DJ Zinhle.
The Black Motion, consisting of two members was formed in 2010 and split up in 2022 when Mörda decided to pursue his solo career. He was later replaced by Kabelo Koma.
According to The Citizen, back in December 2022 some allegations that surfaced claiming that Mörda had taken recording studio equipment from the Black Motion business premises leading to him being accused of vandalising studio property and being violent.
Following these serious allegations, legal representatives acting on behalf of Mörda issued an official statement declaring that all such equipment belongs solely to Spirit Motion – a company co-owned proportionately both by himself and Thabo Smol.
Thabo Smol recently went on the Podcast and Chill with Mac G where he set the record straight as to why Black Motion broke up as online fans speculated that it was because of his marriage to DJ Zinhle that the duo split.
He also said that the group would be getting back together in the future.
[IN DEPTH] “No, DJ Zinhle has nothing to do with my split with her husband, Bongz.” 😳😳
Thabo Smol sets the record straight on rumours DJ Zinhle is the reason for Black Motion split, & he believes they’ll get back together❤
