After an X user expressed their opinion about the poor marketing of the African Throne tour, Cassper Nyovest’s manager TLee Moiloa came onto the timeline to provide some clarification.
The African Throne tour sees Mzansi rap superstars Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C travel parts of Africa as well as the United Arab Emirates to entertain the masses. So far, the rap duo have already performed in Eswatini and Kenya and are preparing to jet off to Mozambique on 6 September and Botswana on 8 September.
With many fans excited about the tour, some shared their thoughts about the marketing strategies. An X user who uses the handle @HlengiWay shared the following speculations:
“I think the concern is similar to those of the album rollout, it’s more overall PR, things like Ads, billboards, promos.. as 2 of UMGs biggest hip hop brands, and as a first of it’s kind, UMG should’ve done more in terms of marketing.. That’s what Nasty Feed is unhappy about.”

Seeing the post, TLee replied, “With all due love… Label has absolutely nothing to do with the tour. This is a Family Tree, Ivyson Ent, Bridge Ent curated tour. If there’s any blame it’s on us, concept and execution all on us. By the way, Nairobi was an oversold show, however, we’ll definitely push harder marketing.”
