Entrepreneur and one of the cast members of the renowned Showmax reality show, Widows Unveiled, Sikelelwa Ngubane has recently found herself in a state of reminiscence on the good old days of what life was like with her late husband Menzi Ngubane.

Sikelelwa who is also the executive producer of the Life and Times of Menzi Ngubane documentary recently took to Instagram to wish him on what would have been his birthday.

“Happy heavenly birthday Somahhashi. Your love and guidance continue to light the way, even though you’re not on this earth anymore. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew you, legend.”

In a two-part post, she reflected on the emotional rollercoaster she had been through as well as how the loss has affected her.

“That day God called your name, it broke my heart in two, but heaven needed an angel and the one he picked was you.

“I just wish he could have waited and let you stay with me, but you have left memories in my heart and that’s where they will always be.”

In her reflection on the time they shared as a couple, she highlighted how she wished she could turn back the clock just to give him one last hug before his departure.

“No matter how much time will pass, I will always miss you every day.”

Later several industry colleagues including Widows Unveiled cast mate, Lerato Maphatsoe, shared their birthday wishes.
