Winners support winners! Siya Kolisi still in cloud 9 following Liverpool league victory

by Sergio Miller

Success seems to be following Springbok captain Siya Kolisi in every aspect of his life as the bok captain recently celebrated yet another trophy added to his checklist.

Before you start checking your phone to see if the Springbok or Sharks achieved any recent success, this time it was not as a result of Siya’s own performances, but rather that of his most beloved football team Liverpool, who recently clinched a much deserved English Premier league trophy following a 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend.

The Springbok captain is quite a big supporter of the team known as “The Reds”.

The 33-year-old has been spotted frequently visiting the stadium as well as providing behind-the-scenes access into the locker rooms of the players’ interactions with the legends of the club whenever he finds himself in Europe with the Durban-based Sharks in the United Rugby Championship (URC) competition.

This past weekend deemed to be no different as the Bok leader took to Instagram sharing a picture of himself donning the iconic red jersey while entering the gates of the Anfield Stadium, following the final whistle, it was time for celebrations as the Siya was later seen out in the streets of Liverpool engaging in the festivities along with the rest of the Reds fans.
