It seems as if Makhadzi has once again landed herself in hot water regarding missed payments, as DJ and producer Rabs Vhafuwi claims the singer allegedly owes him an outstanding balance of R16 500.
Rabs took to Twitter to share screenshots of what seems to be his conversations with the Ma Yellowbone singer. His tweet read, “Hi @MakhadziSA Since you are unable to finish paying it off, you can keep the balance.”
In their exchange, an alleged Makhadzi says, “I am gonna keep on sending it [the payment] until I finish.” The next message reads, “I will keep paying it first week of March.”
The date of the messages are not shown, however, on 28 April, Rabs sends a message saying, “I’m still waiting? March went passed, and April is also finished and you haven’t sent anything to me.”
Almost a week later, the number Rabs was chatting to, which he named ‘Makhadzi Artist Ven Pta’ changed cellphone numbers.
On 6 May, two days after the number was changed, Rabs sent another message providing the outstanding total owed to him. As a response, the number wrote back, “Thanks for contacting Makhadzi Entertainment! To book any artist, please send the name of the event, venue details, date, your email address and company details.”

A few tweeps took Makhadzi’s side. One tweep wrote, “You sending this to social media ? So do you still want her to pay you after tarnishing her image?”

Others took Rabs’ side.
“Most of the comment section just shows me how people don’t respect black businesses and how they honor these celebrities so much they forget that even other children have to eat. You guys are acting as if this guy hasn’t tried contacting Makhadzi!” said one tweep.

Another tweep advised Rabs not to let Makhadzi keep the balance. “No, dont tell her to keep the balance. Let her at least tell you the reasons for not paying and see if you guys can make other arrangements. Its only fair for her or anyone to commit to what they promise.”
