Kings of Joburg actor, Zolisa Xaluva recently appeared in a podcast with MacG and he spoke about his relationship status.
When asked about his love life he responded ‘I’m a lover, I like to love, I like to give a lot of myself and all of myself to somebody you know. Love life right now is not great, I haven’t been dating for a while.. for six to seven months.’
He mentioned, that he is however not in the space where he was looking to get into a relationship.’ If I do, I do, I’m not in that space where I’m even looking. I think it helps when you’re not looking as well, when you’re just chilling and doing your thing’
Zolisa Xaluva further mentioned that his fame has made it hard for him to find a significant other.
‘Between the ages of 17 to 25, I dated this one girl. I started acting at 22 so so for three years of our relationship I was acting and she wasn’t used to that, and that’s part of the reason we couldn’t be together. And, that was part of the things that I was worried about, I was with somebody who loved me for me. She knew flaws and all, dreams and all you know, and now it was going to be an uphill battle.’
He expressed that the problem now was that everyone knew who he was and what he did as a profession, so it’s hard to know if people would be with him for the right reasons.
