Spring has sprung, and gone are the days when we installed wigs as protective hairstyles have made their return.
One hairstyle that slowly became popular on socials was knotless koroba braids. A unique hairstyle that tells a thousand stories. Similar to knotless single braids this hairstyle needs constant maintenance and washes once in a while.
Koroba braids are a Nigerian-inspired hairstyle which has become a fan-favourite in the hair industry as people look to try new hairstyles all the time.
Founder of Hair by Susy, Susan Oludele says, “Knotless braids look natural and effortless regular box braids, you can tell extension has been used because of the knot at the beginning.”
She adds that just like any other protective hairstyle you might do it helps with your hair growth.

Beauty hub, Instyle adds that when you do any type of knotless braids you should always remember to wash your hair before braiding so that your braids can last longer, adding that, apple cider vinegar is a good hair rinse to remove buildup and excess oils in the scalp.
Beauty expert, Sabrina Rowe says, “Installing knotless braids involves minimal pulling at the root which means less breakage and more comfort.”
Protective hairstyles are very scalp and hairline-friendly if your hairstylist doesn’t pull on your hair too hard and if you are looking for a Spring hairstyle you need to try this one out.
