South African and international personalities donned regal wear at an exclusive South African premiere of Bridgerton‘s prequel spin-off, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, hosted by Netflix.
The six-part series looks at a young Queen Charlotte’s – played by India Amarteifio – relationship with King George of England. Their marriage sparks an epic love story and transforms high society, says Netflix.
The queen herself – actress Golda Rosheuvel- graced the attendees with her presence, along with the young Lady Danbury, actress Arsema Thomas.
