Christian Dior, which is commonly known as Dior, has announced on Instagram it’s collaboration with South African fashion designer, Thebe Magugu.
In the post the French luxury fashion house stated that they are “ introducing an exciting new capsule that supports the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP), a foundation created by House ambassador Charlize Theron that invests in the health, education, and safety of young people living in Southern Africa. For this partnership, MariaGraziaChiuri tapped designer ThebeMagugu to reinterpret Dior’s iconic New Look with a powerful symbol of sisterhood.”
Dior also announced that the collection is now available on dior.com and Dior flagships in Paris, New York and Los Angeles. The collection has featured two female profiles that animate a cotton T-shirt, a yellow silk twill scarf.

Thebe Magugu also took to his Instagram to share the exciting news with his followers as he captioned the post:
“I am proud to introduce my new capsule in collaboration with DIOR, one that benefits CTAOP, a foundation created by my fellow South African Charlize Theron, which invests in the health, education, and safety of young people living in Southern Africa,” Thebe wrote in his Instagram post.
He also explained how the collab came to be.
“Maria Grazia Chirui asked me to use Dior’s iconic ‘New Look’ as a base silhouette, which I interpreted through a variety of key wardrobe staples. The collection features our iconic Sisterhood emblem – representative of themes of unity and empowerment prevalent in both Maria Grazia & I’s work – on a cotton T-shirt, a yellow silk twill scarf, the emblematic #DiorBookTote and more,” he added.
