Good lifestyle habits that will transform your skin

by Ncumisa Lerato Kunana

There is no one big secret in keeping healthy, radiant-looking skin. As a living organ that reflects your lifestyle and general health, your skin will exhibit the effects of years of neglect or even just a few bad behaviors. However, it’s never too late to make a change towards healthy radiant looking skin.

We have compiles a list of four lifestyle changes that will have a positive impact on your skin.

Drink water

Properly hydrating the body by drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day is one of the easiest and cheapest lifestyle changes you can make.

Eat fruits and vegetables

You truly are what you eat! Nourish your skin by eating a mix of fruit and vegetables daily. According to Nouri, fruit and vegetables contain natural antioxidants that help to protect skin from the cellular damage caused by free radicals.

Incorporating a variety of different fruits and vegetables in your diet is an easy way to make sure you get a variety of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.

Change your pillow cases weekly

The dirt that piles up from our pillow cases rubs off our faces as we lay asleep. All those toxins undo the work done by our skincare products, it is important to change them often. Love Kinks promotes sleeping on satin pillow cases for the benefit of both your skin an hair.

Avoid touching your face

Keep your hands away from your face and only touch face with clean hands if necessary. According to Nuori, in addition to reducing the spread of diseases, refraining from touching your face will shield you from breakouts and blemishes.
