Your eyebrows are usually the most important part of your makeup routine, and you want to get them right. Have you ever heard of the term “on fleek”? Fluffy brows are the current trend.
Celia Burton, a Glossier make-up artist, explains that narrow eyebrows are no longer popular and are replaced by fluffy fronts, wide arches, and precise points at the ends.
Makeup.com adds what you will need to achieve the fluffy brow look:
- Clear brow gel for a natural look.
- Tinted gel for light brows.
- Brow powder for denser brows.
- Brow scissors for trimming.
- Brow regrowth serum for long-term growth
Here is what you need to do provided by various beauty experts:
- Brush your brows upwards: Vogue India recommends using a clean brush or spoolie, and suggests raising the arch to open the face.
- Fill in the gaps: Fill in gaps between hairs using an upward motion. Clean up any unwanted product from underneath.
- Groom your brows: Use brow gel or a spoolie brush on the first half of the brow. Brush the hairs straight up towards the tail at a 45-degree angle and add thickness to the brow.
- Use highlighter: UK Lash suggests removing any stray markings to define the form of your brows, use highlighter or concealer. Use a tiny brush to highlight the brow bone, then buff highlighter under the arch for a brighter look.
Celia advises, “For smaller eyes, a pop of highlighter in the centre of an eyelid exaggerates the space; a highlight in the corner of the eye makes the eyes appear further apart; and a pearly shimmer in the waterline completely opens up the eye. Play around and discover what suits your eye shape.”
