South African fashion designer Rich Mnisi was recently spotted at Beyoncé’s hair launch in Los Angeles.
The renowned designer known for his collaborations with Adidas and H&M supported award-winning singer Beyoncé at the launch of her hair products CÉCRED.
According to the IOL the founder says, “The journey of creating CÉCRED has taken years and I’m so proud to finally reveal what we’ve been working on, she adds that as a black founder it was important for me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy hair care and place scientific innovation and product performance above all else.”
The focus is on hair with texture and other textures that demand hydration and strength. She adds that she has worn her hair in a variety of ways, including natural, flat-ironed, braided, coloured, weaved, and with wigs.
The aim is to offer products that promote healthy hair and scalp, celebrate diverse cultures’ hair styles, and reduce misunderstandings in the hair industry.
Internet users were excited to see the designer amongst the biggest stars in the world honouring the all-white theme while he spoke to the one and only Queen B.
Rich took to Instagram to post his experience at the launch with the caption, “@beyonce called and I had to pick up.”
