It is officially that time of the year. Gather all your friends and lovers and let them know that the meet up spot in Cape Town has not changed. The Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts are back at it again this year and they remain one of our favourite meet up spots on a Sunday evening throughout this December and extends right through to 2024.
What could be better than gathering at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, watching the sunset while listening to the melodies of your favourite artists with good food and even better people.
Catering for a variety of people, these concerts bring to Cape Town some of the most enjoyed and popular artists. If you are one of the unlucky individuals who are working or won’t be in the province then worry not because there are enough dates to cater for everyone as they begin on the 3rd of December and continue until the end of March in 2024.
Kicking off the first Sunday of the concert is Mi Casa, with the following Sunday headed by Amanda Black and The Soil. Bringing a four-day special from the 14th until the 17th of December is The Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch with The Cape Town Carols. Getting us ready for Christmas is Swing City as they will entertain all attendees that will be there on the 23rd of December on a Saturday.
