Taking place this Saturday the 18th of November 2023 at the Sun Bet Arena in Menlyn Maine are the 29th South African Music Awards. According to their website, this award award ceremony recognizes Mzansi’s “finest music talent in key categories, as they battle for the South African industry’s highest honour – a statuette at the South African Music Awards.”
Hosting this year’s 29th annual SAMAs is actress and TV personality Nomalanga Shozi alongside Metro FM’s Breakfast show host and Clash of The Choirs SA host, DJ Sabby.
Sharing her excitement over these news, Nomalanga took to Instagram to share:
“SOUTH AFRICA, PREPARE TO BE ENTERTAINED! I am your host for the #SAMA29 !!!!”
Further adding how proud she is this achievement, “words fail me. I am reminded of 19 Year Old me in slide 2; dreaming dreams bigger than my mind could EVER fathom. I know she’s proud of me.
