Zoe Saldana
Nude looks good on Zoe, it complements her skin well. We loved the simplicity of her dress because it was very appropriate for the sophisticated occasion.
Chrissy Teigan and John Legend
This adorable couple are a match made in heaven. Chrissy’s pale blue embellished gown was a highlight. Everything about her whole look – from the dress to the make-up – was in sync. John Legend was the perfect gentleman in a tailored tux.
Idris Elba and daughter
Idris is a man after our own hearts – he looked dashing. We’re not too sure about his daughter’s dress, but they made for a very cute pair.
Jennifer Lopez
Jlo gets a nod for not wearing something with a high slit. Her ball gown was elegant, classy and magical. A different colour choice would’ve probably made the dress stand out more, but she still managed to impress us.
Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer was a ray of sunshine in a floor length boob-tube gown. The thin waist belt was a great touch to give her figure some shape and add a little detail to the number.
Kerry Washington
Kerry donned yet another lacklustre ensemble; if only she would try just a bit harder at these events. She has so much potential and her body is banging, so a little more effort would go a long way.
Kevin Hart and Enicko Parrish
Enicko was flawless. Her minimal approach spoke volumes and looked breath-taking. A white suit is never our first choice, but there’s something about it that always looks mismatched.
Oprah
Oprah was age and occasion appropriate in a champagne ball gown. It was feminine, flattering and definitely worthy of such a prestigious event.
Solange
Solange was drenched in fabric. We’re a bit lost as to what the vision was behind this creation, but whatever it was it fell short of wowing us.
Zendaya Coleman
Zendaya is young and beautiful but none of that was reflected through this dress. She looked somewhat frumpy and rather overwhelmed by both the hair and the maturity of her gown. This would have been more suited to someone a bit older than her.
Rita Ora
Rita was ready to shine. This navy dress with gold lace detailing was made for her –she looked absolutely stunning!
Khloe Kardashian
Khloe was fierce in red. The draping and slit combo was placed in all the right places. The dress was sexy and alluring.
Meagan Good
The design of Meagan’s dress resembled that of a matric dance, so it unfortunately wasn’t the best. We know Meagan has potential to do much better so we’ll forgive the faux pas. Her husband on the other hand charmed in all black.
