1. The brighter the better. Corduroy in various shades and hues is great because firstly, the fabric really pops and the texture contrasting really well with just about everything.

2. Toned down diva. Dark corduroy is as close as it gets to denim, but it’s usually more affordable and definitely more chic. Corduroy dresses in dark or neutral tones are great paired with colourful or patterned tops. If you want to further dress up the outfit, you can always wear thigh-high boots and add a belt or belt bag.

3. Sizzling shoes. Corduroy has got you covered from head to toe. Literally. Textured shoes add an interesting layer to your outfit – especially for work looks that can be a bit dull.

4. Accessorize. The most affordable and easy way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe is through cool accessories like bags and hats. These won’t make you feel too hot and you won’t have to break the bank to stay on trend.
