This apple cinnamon recipe creates the most delicious loaf that is packed with loads of flavour.
We all love a delicious and moist banana loaf, but why not spice it up a bit and try this amazing recipe that is perfect for any time of the day.
The apple and cinnamon flavour is light, fresh and it is an amazing aroma to swift through your kitchen.
List of ingredients include:
1 cup packed light brown sugar (divided)
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup almond or dairy milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large apple, peeled and finely chopped (about 2/3 cups)
Instructions to follow:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Spray a 8×4 inch loaf pan with nonstick spray
In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup brown sugar with the cinnamon and set aside
Combine remaining brown sugar and coconut oil until smooth
Add vanilla, eggs, and milk, and mix until combined
Add flour, baking powder, salt, and apples
Pour half the batter into the prepared pan
Pat apples into the batter with the back of a spoon
Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture
Pour the remaining batter in the pan; top with remaining brown sugar-cinnamon mixture
Pat topping into the batter with the back of a large spoon
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack
Once the loaf is cooled down you can enjoy this delicious apple cinnamon loaf.
