If you have digestion issues and cannot seem to find a solution, the below publications provide insight into how to combat this issue. It is said that eating probiotic-rich foods is beneficial to your health.

According to Health, “Probiotics are live microorganisms that you can consume through food or supplements.”

Clinical Nutritionist Josh Axe, “Adding a few servings of probiotic-rich foods to your daily diet can be an easy and effective way to boost your gut microbiome while also improving overall health.”

Probiotics can assist in reintroducing healthy germs into your body if the ratio of good to bad bacteria in your microbiome is out of balance, the above health publication adds.

The expert also mentions that insufficient consumption of probiotics can lead to many adverse reactions, such as digestive issues, skin conditions, candida, autoimmune illnesses, and recurrent bouts of colds and flu.

Here is a list of probiotic-rich foods to add to your diet:

The health-focused publication, Healthline claims that one of the best foods high in probiotics is yoghurt which you may be familiar with. It has several health advantages such as enhanced cardiac, gastrointestinal, and bone health, and a slim chance of developing diabetes.

The above-mentioned health hub also adds, “Pickled cucumbers are a great source of healthy probiotic bacteria, which may improve digestive health.”

WebMD further adds to the above suggestion that if you’re looking for pickles that will give you probiotics, go for naturally fermented varieties that weren’t pickled with vinegar.

The above health source suggests that the next time you make a sandwich, consider sourdough bread as it has a probiotic packed in it that may help with digestion.
