Singing sensation LeAnne Dlamini will be joining presenter Tumi Voster to Dubai from 7 – 14 April for an all exclusive girls – only trip to Dubai. We caught up with her before she left to talk all things travel.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Dubai without a doubt! You’ve got the best of both worlds. You can shop and relax at the beach! It’s perfect.
You are going to Dubai soon, is it your first time going there?
I’ve been there way too many times! My husband and I used to live in Dubai for 4 years when we first got married so a piece of my heart remained in that city. I love everything about it! So many diverse cultures, the shopping, relaxation & the rich history the city holds.
What are you most excited about when it comes to the trip?
Exploring the city again and this time with my girlfriends. It’s going to be full on fabulosity all the way.

- Make sure your hair looks good. Even if you’re wearing minimal make-up, when a woman’s hair is done, her confidence is on top of the world.
- Make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes, nothing worse than having to stand & walk around all night & you’re in pain.
- Wear an outfit that’s appropriate to the event you’re attending. Nothing worse than looking like you’re stepping into a club when you’re attending the Oscars
What has been your best and worst traveling experience?
My best travelling experience was to the Maldives for my honeymoon. Everything was just perfect!

Can you give us your 5 best traveling tips?
- Make sure you’re dressed comfortably for the flight. A sports luxe look is always good, because it’s chic yet comfortable
- Plan your outfits ahead of time, that way you don’t over pack
- Get a travel wallet that you can store all your documents in
- Pack all chargers & adapters for your appliances. I especially love the Twelve South Plugbug that I bought at iStore recently
- And the most important thing, make sure you have your credit card with you at all times, lol. A girls gotta shop !
