Over the past few days, social media has been in a frenzy, this came as a result of when a TikToker who goes by the handle @enhleerh_ uploaded a video of a group of university students entering the campus premises with multiple exotic sports cars.
The video shared on the platform shows the now popular students entering the parking area with one making his appearance in a cherry red Ferrari, another a Lamborghini, and a third casually parking his Nissan GTR alongside a fellow “classmate” in his BMW. After spending some time at the institution, the group later vacated the area, leaving many students standing in awe.
The footage was captured at the well-known higher learning institution Varsity College in Durban. Entertainment publications The South African and Briefly News reported that students returned to the place of learning to attend this year’s annual orientation week. However, by the looks of the cars, many question whether they even needed to further their education.

Taking to the comment section, many students, as well as the social media community, confessed that they were green with envy.
These were some of the comments:
“Your dream car is driven by your classmate,” followed by a crying emoji.
Another user commented: “What are they doing at college, they’re our employers already.”
Meanwhile, a third user praised the student’s parents for wanting to give them the best in life.
“I’m all for parents like this. In this life, there was no rule that you must struggle, if I could afford this for my kids that would be a dream.”

Furthermore, this is not the first time a South African student made an appearance in a luxury supercar while on campus.
A similar incident occurred in 2022 when a Cape Town student drove his Lamborghini, estimated to have cost R4.5 million, to the University of Cape Town (UCT).
