Acceptance is key

It is difficult to accept that your child is no more, but with time you get to learn that acceptance is key, and the mere fact that it happened and nothing can be done about it, now most of us fail to understand the phase of accepting and moving on, it’s a matter of holding onto the past and not focusing on the future. One thing that you have to understand is that it’s a matter of accepting and trying to move on but not that you should forget about the former existence of your child or about your child.

Don’t try too hard

One mistake most mourning parents do is trying too hard to get through the pain, that they feel they somehow need to have a rebound child. Waiting is key, it helps you calm down and gives you a clear perspective on your future and life as a whole. Taking part in daily activities like jogging and exercising, communicating with others who are close to you, surrounding yourself with positive people who possess positive energy are some of a few things that can distract you and help you go through your rough time.

Losing a child is one of the hardest challenges you face, it’s depressing but this is one of the uncontrollable possible incidents that may occur to anyone, being strong and standing firm through pain and heartache proves the inner strength you possess.
