Camps Bay

Camps Bay is a beautiful beach that is considered to be quite exotic. This beach has loads of activities to offer from sipping on a cocktail at any one of the trendy spots like the iconic Caprice Bar, to grabbing an ice-cream at Sinful and gawking at the bodies to playing volleyball on the sand. Sandwiched in between the spectacular 12 Apostles and the sparkling Atlantic Ocean, the postcard picture image of Cape Town, is Camps Bay.

Durban’s beachfront is a well known beach in Durban that is always packed with people. A good place for a promenade with your significant other or even just on your own. This beach offers countless activities such as early morning jogs, cyclists, pram-pushing moms, dog-walking seniors and a host of perambulating city dwellers who love taking in the fresh, salt-laden morning breeze.
From Addington Beach, just north of the Point and Durban Harbour, the promenade passes a laid-back African-style restaurant overlooking the beach with a quaint pub on the pier that gives patrons a bird’s-eye view of surfers and bathers.
Muizenberg Beach

South of Cape Town, on the edge of False Bay, Muizenberg Beach is always busy whether it be on weekends or even during the week this beach is always packed with surfers. Muizenberg beach can offer moments of peace anytime of day or night. Surfing is the most popular activity; it’s a great place to learn, with manageable waves and loads of surf rental stores offering lessons. Come and admire the colourful beach houses, play in the surf and then grab lunch at one of the beachfront cafés or the many restaurants which this beach has to offer.
Coffee Bay

On the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape, Coffee Bay is one of the country’s most beautiful beaches. It’s known for its golden sand, the rocky cliffs and rolling green hills that surround it, and the much-photographed Hole in the Wall, an archway in the rock. The little town of Coffee Bay has plenty of guesthouses and is conveniently connected to the N2 highway by a tar road, so no need for a 4×4 or high clearance.
Clifton Beaches

Sheltered from the wind and overlooking the Atlantic, Clifton has beaches prosaically named 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. It is also a popular beach in Cape Town. This beach is the home to white powdery sand overlooked by the neighbourhood’s stylish villas perched high above. On hot days, the frigid Atlantic looks a lot more inviting than it feels can serve as a bracing refresher. There are loungers and umbrellas to hire. Cold drinks and ice creams are sold by hawkers wandering the beach.

This beach has warmer water than other local beaches in SA. The waves on this beach are often calm and clear. The beach is colourful with kite surfers, beach sectioned off for swimmers, kite surfers along with wind surfers and so much more.
