At some point in our lives we have all been told to eat carrots as it is believed to improve your eyesight but does it though?
As human beings or any other creature here on planet earth, our eyes are one of the most important features on our face as it allows us to see and move around on a daily basis without any interference. Fish

According to research, omega-3s in the eyes is found to be beneficial for dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction and therefore helps with macular degeneration.
Nuts
Not all nuts are good for your eyes but most nuts are great for your eyesight as they contain high levels of protein, essential fatty acids and fiber.
Nuts like almond and hazelnuts are rich in antioxidants with Vitamin E.
Citrus fruits
Fruits like lemon, lime, grapefruit and organ contain vitamin C, which is a key antioxidant for the eye.
Sweet potatoes
Sweet potatoes are rich in a few key ocular nutrients: vitamin A, vitamin C, and lutein. Substituting white potatoes for the sweet variety not only decreases glycemic load, but it’s also food for eyesight.
Leafy green
Leafy greens are super important as they are very rich in key vitamins which helps to improve eyesight. It is shocking but true yes beef can also help improve eyesight according to research. It has been shown to slow the progression of macular degeneration.
