BI Phakathi helps bury teen who committed suicide

Well-known philanthropist BI Phakathi along with various business associates rallied together to help bury a young teen who committed suicide.

According to ZiMoja, the faceless philanthropist took the initiative to help bury 16-year-old grade 10 learner Musa Tshabalala who died last month of an apparent suicide after consuming rat poison.

BI Phakathi is well-known on socials for posting videos of him helping those in need where he gives them money winning the hearts of many internet users.

Musa’s grandmother told the entertainment publication that her granddaughter died as a result of not knowing her mother, and discovering that she was conceived after her mother was raped.

During an interview with the above-mentioned source, Musa’s cousin Buyisile Tshabalala said, “We are grateful that Musa will be laid to rest. We were contacted by several people who offered to assist the family bury Musa after the story was published. They have paid the funeral parlour and have offered their services. The catering company from here in Alexandra also offered their help,” adding, “Not being able to afford to bury Musa was killing her. She did not know where to start as there was no one working at home, she cried every day.”

Many X (previously known as Twitter) users took to the comment section to express their gratitude for BI Phakathi’s help in burying the teen.
