An exciting time for African people, as we continue to break the stereotypes that we are not innovative enough. Well, it looks like there is something brewing in the kitchen as we wait for the launch of Lemok smart feature phone.
Lebogang Mokubela is an entrepreneur from Soshanguve, his new invention Lemok smart feature phone aims to bridge the digital divide and providing affordable and accessible technology to African communities.
Lebogang shares on their business profile that their smart feature phone is a game-changer and will provide every feature of a smart phone but at a lesser cost.
“By providing affordable and accessible devices, we hope to empower African communities to participate fully in the digital economy,” says Lebogang.

According to Youth Village “the phone allows access to the internet, use apps, and connect with others via social media, while still maintaining the simplicity and affordability of the feature phone. The Lehumo phone is both durable and designed to withstand the challenges of African life.”
Many people were inspired by the work being done by the entrepreneur, also because not many black people attempt to do this and succeed.
Manufacturing your products in south Africa is hella expensive.. China has all the big firms man power and improved technology to facilitate the process this it makes manufacturing more easier and cheap.. and don’t see anything wrong with that.. we are proud @LemokElectronic
