Over the years, there have been a lot of misconceptions around Friday the 13th, for example, some people would say “many bad things happen on the day.”
History reports this day to be a harbinger of bad luck. Just like walking under a ladder, crossing paths with a black cat or breaking a mirror, many people hold fast to the belief that Friday the 13th brings bad luck. Though it’s uncertain exactly when this particular tradition began, negative superstitions have swirled around the number 13 for centuries.
Some people on this day go as far as staying indoors because they are scared bad things will happen on this day and if you’re betting on luck, forget about it.
However, some still believe you can always turn your bad superstitions into positive ones.
