A little boy caused a buzz on social media after delivering an emotional poem about his difference which has caused him to be treated differently in his community.
In the video, which has since gone viral on Twitter, the little boy is seen sitting down on the stairs where he delivered his heartfelt poem. The kid spoke about the difficulties he has faced as a result of living with albinism.
Through the poem, the little boy told people what it is like to live in a world that does not tolerate those who are different.
In the video, the little boy’s poem starts with a disclaimer, that his mind is a bit slow and that what he says might not make sense at times. The little poetic boy stated the following in his poem:
“I accepted myself even though others haven’t.” He then talks about his experiences as someone with albinism saying people thought he was a witch.
The kid says he wishes people would not treat him badly. Towards the end of the video he revealed that no one wants to be his friend and asked why.
“Only God knows. Tell me who would want to be my friend?”
Many people were touched by the little boy’s poem and flooded the comment section while others simply retweeted the post to raise awareness about albinism and to remind people to always be kind to one another.

This is beautiful yet deep. We need to teach our children to appreciate one another irrespective of how we look. We are all human beings and special in our different ways ?

To know so much deep pain as a child is unnatural and speaks to the rot within us as a society.
I always say sometimes the safest place for a child is inside the womb
