Reasons why you should take a Durban tour

There is so much to see in this beautiful country of ours. South Africa keeps showcasing its beauty through culture in all its provinces, in this case, the east coast city of Durban.

Here are a few reasons why you should take a Durban tour:

The beaches

Tripadvisor claims that Durbanites and visitors may enjoy a lovely, family-friendly beach with small waves, a sandy beach, and a variety of water activities at uShaka’s Beach.

The markets

Market life in the city has to be the best experience you would want to tick off your bucket list such as the Markets of Warwick and the Victoria Street Market, according to the above source, the market is one of Durban’s oldest markets which offers a wide range of products such as bags, spices, African artwork, and much more.

The parks

Don’t we all love nature in spring, there’s something about being surrounded by it. The breathtaking Durban Botanic Gardens and Umgeni River Bird Park give off this vibe and I am 100% sure it looks so much better in person, at times, images do not do nature justice. The Botanic Gardens are located on John Zikhale Road and the Bird Park is on Riverside Road.

Cultural tours

With Heritage Day approaching, it would not make sense to skip the most important part of your tour which is visiting some of the best ways to learn about a foreign place, the museums and exhibitions such as the Kwa Muhle Museum located on Bram Fischer Road and Phansi Museum on Esther Roberts Road. According to the Culturetrip website, “Durban has some historical gems tracing the city’s history tucked away in some beautiful old buildings.”
