Lebogang “The Funny Chef” Tlokana
The professional chef, award-winning content creator, actress and television host that we are very fond of, proved that her big heart has no borders. This is after a Facebook user wrote to her asking for help with her graduation. Lebogang mentions on a Tiktok video she posted that initially, the Facebook user had asked her for help with her hair and make-up for the graduation. The user explained on the post that she had been struggling to put together funds for her big day. She stated on the post that she had only managed to buy herself a suit and saved money for the graduation gown.
When our favourite funny chef saw the post, she decided to not only help the lady with makeup and hair but also go the extra mile. “I asked my friends from P Squared to give her a wig, I asked my friends from Baroka to drive her to her graduation and I had asked my makeup artist to do her make-up and everybody said yes,” Lebogang explained. She further showed a video of her surprising the graduate at a gorgeous venue with flowers and ended up celebrating together with the rest of her family.

Shudufhadzo Musida
The former Miss South Africa shared with the Miss World publication about her weekly Instagram Mindful Mondays, a show which features mental health experts discussing various topics related to mental health. Shudu mentioned that the show has been growing massively and garnered a lot of support from users since its inception. “One of my most successful IGTV Live sessions (September 27, 2021) was called Men and Depression. I was joined by Dr Goodman Sibeko who is the Head of Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Cape Town. He is also the Director of the International Technology Transfer Centre of South Africa and is Head of the Division of Addition Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, University of Cape Town.”
“I give his credentials because he is the calibre of mental health care expert who joined me in conversation on a weekly basis. In this particular Mindful Monday talk, we discussed whether depression is different in men and women. While the jury is out, what emerged was the possibility that depression is often undiagnosed in men,” explained Shudu.
