Nothing excites kids more than a day at the water slides, and Cape Town’s summer scene is all about having lots of fun in the sun.
There are lots of spots for the kids to have fun, from the exhilarating turns at Bugz Family Park to the splashy fun at Milnerton Water Park, and don’t overlook Wiesonhof Adventure Park (the best slides, if I may add) where the fun doesn’t end.
Here are some of the best parks where your children can experience the joys of summer:
Bugz Family Playpark
Bugz Family Park, located at 56 Tarentaal Street, Joostenbergvlakte, Kraaifontein, is a kid-friendly paradise with more than simply water slides. It’s ideal for the young ones who want to have fun without too much excitement because it has splash pools, soft slides, and lots of play places. While the children explore and delight with every splash, parents may unwind.

Wiesenhof Adventure Park
Wiesonhof Adventure Park is the place to go if you want a day full of adventure, situated on the R44 Road Stellenbosch. For children who enjoy a little speed (my favourite, music to my ears), it features water slides of different sizes. It’s a family-friendly full-day outing with lots of space for picnics.

Milnerton Water Park
This park provides a more relaxed water slide experience, making it the absolute best for families who want to cool off without going far. Kids can enjoy various slides, while parents may join in or observe from the covered picnic spots. The park is located at Birkenhead Rd, Table View.
