After the network outage that Telkom users suffered recently, Telkom South Africa has resorted to giving 1GB of data that will be valid for two days to their customers.
Telkom took to their X (formerly known as Twitter) to share that technicians are working on restoring the network.
“Dear Customers, we are aware of the network outage affecting our customers. Our technicians are hard at work to restore the network. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
On the comment section, one X user responded sharing how she missed an important work call because of the network outage.

Another user jokingly asked Telkom to send data as a token of apology:
Send some data/airtime so we know this apology is sincere…

After the network had been restored, Telkom shared a 12 second clip on X to apologise to their customers and shared that as a token of apology the network provider will give data to their customers over the next few days.
