Working as a safari guide is no joke! In videos that have gone viral, an elephant got up close and personal with a safari car filled with nature enthusiasts and one brave safari guide.
A TikToker named Hendry Blom shared two videos to his account of a mighty elephant finding an enemy in the mode of transportation at the Pilanesberg National Park in North West Province during a game drive.
In the first video taken from afar, the animal is seen approaching the safari vehicle and lifting it with its trunk – not once, but twice – as the guide is heard yelling at the elephant in the distance.

The second video posted gives viewers a closer look at the guide and vehicle passengers’ interaction with one of South Africa’s Big Five.
As the driver shouts and bangs on the vehicle, the person behind the camera pans over to the other passengers crouching on the floor, out of sight of the lone animal.
Concerned passengers are also heard advising the safari guide to radio in for backup, understandably so.

Of course, many TikTokers took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the frightening incident.
One person joked, “You all know an elephant can hold a grudge for years and doesn’t forget a face?”
Another person wrote, “Reason why I’ll never go on a game drive!”
Commenting on the second video, one person stated, “I just want to thank you videographer for keeping calm and giving us steady content, your talent is appreciated.”
