Internet users react to hilarious video of Durban taxi drivers dressed as women in honour of Women’s Month.
TikTok creator Makhantini Mnqobi who goes by the username @mnqobiii_ posted a video of uMtshezi taxi drivers at the rank dressed as women.
In the video, the men are dressed as wives in their traditional dresses with wigs and lipstick in honour of women.
Women’s Month in South Africa is usually celebrated the whole month of August to commemorate all women in the country as well as to spread awareness of gender-based violence cases happening in the country.
A day that goes down in history when women marched to the Union Building to fight for their rights to be treated equally and to be paid the same money as men in their respective fields.

This hilarious video received massive popularity among internet users as many were stunned by the men wearing women’s clothes while some celebrated the men bringing awareness to issues faced by women.
Taking to the comment section TikTok users said:

Another user commented: “Now this should be constituted in our country, every year men should dress like this to honour and celebrate women.”
One user added that, men who recognise the importance of women without feeling like it emasculates them should be appreciated.
