South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns visited a primary school in Cape Town.
This is after a class teacher who is visibly a Sundowns fan posted a video of herself and her learners cheering for the team as she wore one of their football jerseys.
The team that is currently number one in the Premier Soccer League had travelled to Cape Town for the semi-final game.
Taking to her TikTok account @morieegee, the sports fanatic shared a video of herself in the classroom with her learners. She was standing by the door when she asked the learners if she should open it for the people outside or not, the learners responded with a big, loud yes.
As she opened the door, the Sundowns players entered the classroom, exciting the learners who cheered and sang for the team.
The teacher captioned the video, “Thank you #mamelodisundowns for visiting our school.”

TikTokers who are parents took to the comment section.
“This is so great, thank you Mamelodi Sundowns. This is why I will never stop supporting you.”
“You are doing a great job by recruiting them while they are still young. I wish my daughter was in your class,” wrote one parent.
Another user said: “I am an Orlando Pirates supporter, but this is beautiful. Well done Sundowns and teacher to pull such a show for the kids.”
One user teased the Kaizer Chiefs: “These kids touched the trophy before Chiefs players.”
