Since the pandemic, online shopping has become popular as people find getting your products without having the anxiety of long queues is efficient and time-consuming.
TikTok creator @caitlinmandaaa on the app recently posted a video of what her Takealot package consisted of. The twist in the parcel was the fact that the huge boxes were used to place small makeup products in them.
Takealot is one of the largest e-commerce in the country that sells everything and delivers it to you. Although gaining massive popularity from online users the online store has been known to waste huge boxes on small products.
However, this usually happens when the customer purchases items that are from different suppliers resulting in them being packaged differently.
In the video, the creator posted the products and the big boxes they came with. Taking to the app she captioned, “I also wanted to cry when I saw the owl costume because it’s giving chicken, other than the packaging I am a happy customer as always.”

Many TikTok users found this video hilarious even taking to the comment reaction their reaction:
One user commented: “Dear Mr Takealot, man. What is your monthly budget for boxes?”
Another user said, “I once got a delivery with no box I was walking with my delivery throughout my complex.”
Another user added, that the Chinese online store SHEIN should borrow the packets.
