A yummy pudding that everyone will love, this banana and chocolate upside down cake by Ntwenhle Gcabashe will be a hit.

Serves: 8–10
- 1½ cups self-raising flour
- 4 bananas, halved
- ½ cup chocolate chip
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- ½ cup castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (250ml) oil
- ½ cup (125ml) milk
- Almond nuts, for serving

- Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
- Layer bananas in a greased baking dish. Add caramel sauce and set aside.
- Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, chocolate chip, oil and milk. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon over bananas, and bake for 35–40 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve warm with almond nuts.
