Dr Esther Mahlangu and Mama Noria Mabaso are set to release their debut books in August. The Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthwethwa, announced the news on social media.
According to the minister, the cultural icons books are an effort of the department to preserve our stories and cultures. The minister said in part: “In August 2019 @ArtsCultureSA will launch two books to honour & celebrate the lives & achievements of two living legends, Dr Esther Mahlangu & Mama Noria Mabasa.”
