Following the dramatic Metro FM interview by DJs Masechaba Ndlovu and Mo Flava on Friday with Gqom hitmaker Babes Wodumo in which domestic violence allegations surfaced.
The Gqom queen’s former partner and manager Mampintsha took to the show on Monday to have his say on the matter.
On the show, Mampintsha was evasive in answering questions about whether he had been physically abusive towards Babes. Instead of answering direct questions about the allegations made, he said no relationship was without its problems.

When asked if they had broken up, Mampintsha asked for South Africans to pray for their relationship and said Babes did not tell him that their relationship is over, and this was news to him. He also went on to say that he believed had given him Babes.
He highlighted that the accusations were coming from third party sources who have an agenda to destroy his career and said that the interview with Babes on Friday had ditressed both their respective families.
South Africans were not convinced with the interview saying he failed to answer questions directly and was playing the victim.
Here are some of the reactions:

Mampintsha interrupted Masechaba endlessly. Never letting her ask question and speaking over her. But was quiet & would allow Moflava to speak. Smh! WOW. That stood out to me. Only towards the end when she owned her power. Proud of her for that. #TheDriveOnMetro
